Senior Data Analyst - Data Strategy & Insights

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Sr. Data Analyst to join our team, focusing on the strategic activation of omnichannel marketing via data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting both qualitative and quantitative data analysis, mining insights to inform omnichannel marketing strategies for our pharmaceutical clients. You will collaborate closely with clients, sales, and internal teams to design research, analyze data, and develop actionable insights and strategic recommendations to support the sales and execution of campaigns.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture a relationship with aligned sales and strategy team members, providing valuable insights that support strategic activation of Relevate HCP engagement solutions
- Design and execute both qualitative and quantitative research to uncover insights that shape pharmaceutical omnichannel marketing strategies.
- Develop and deliver high quality, compelling client presentations & read-outs (including dashboards) that utilize data visualization and storytelling in a manner that effectively pulls the story (insights) out of the data in a simple, and solutions-oriented manner
- Develop and maintain knowledge of omnichannel marketing trends, pharmaceutical marketing trends, patient behavior, and industry insights
- Conduct competitive research to identify trends and opportunities across assigned therapeutic areas
- Keep abreast of new trends and technologies in pharmaceutical marketing analytics and data management to maintain a competitive edge
- Maintain a curious and proactive approach, consistently asking insightful questions to develop meaningful solutions that drive measurable results for both internal and external clients
Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of statistics
- Skilled in programming languages and tools, including SQL, for data manipulation and database querying
- Proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating complex data insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Adept at managing multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all deliverables
- Proactively engages with multiple stakeholders to meet customer needs effectively
- Excels in both internal and client-facing communication and thought partnership
- Possesses deep knowledge of pharmaceutical and other healthcare data sources, including claims data
- Thrives in collaborative team environments, often working within virtual teams
- Comfortable operating in small, fast-paced, growth-oriented business settings
- High emotional intelligence, strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, polished communications, and a proven track record of success
Education / Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field
- At least 7 years of experience in a data analytics role, preferably in a pharmaceutical marketing setting
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills required; familiarity with Tableau or other visualization tools desirable
- Familiarity with qualitative research techniques as well as fundamental statistical concepts and methodologies
- Experience leveraging healthcare datasets (medical claims, Rx claims, sales data, formulary data etc.) to create solutions to business problems
Working Conditions:
- Hybrid working if within 40 miles of a Relevate Health Office (Dallas, Boston, Cincinnati, New Jersey)
- Remote working if outside 40 miles of a Relevate Health Office
- Travel may apply based on position
- Hours may vary based on position and location of client
